Holiday Apple & Nut Granola

This granola is one of my favorite ways to bring some festive holiday spirit to our home! Warm, toasty nuts with the classic pairing of apples and cinnamon make this cozy snack taste like the holidays in a bite. My favorite way to enjoy this granola is in a yogurt and fruit parfait or in a morning bowl of muesli topped with fresh bananas or apples. Happy holidays!

1 ¾ cup oats

3 tbsp chia

1 tbsp flax (ground or whole)

Lots of cinnamon

Pumpkin spice

Pinch of salt

12-13 chopped almonds (or pecans or walnuts)

1 apple diced into ¾ cm cube

3 tbsp maple syrup

3 tbsp walnut oil (or any other oil)

Splash of vanilla ex

1-2 tbsp bit of brown sugar

Mix everything together bake it at 250ºF until the granola is as crispy or chewy as you like. Let it cool for at least 5-7 minutes before you dig in!
